the teams are the best! If we play like we did yesterday, and continue to ban together, we can beat anybody we face. Our team is young overall, but these young ladies can play the game of softball with the best of them! I attended the WCWS in 2021, with James Madison, beating Oklahoma in game 1 and later beating Oklahoma State in the same tournament. FSU, Arizona, Alabama, UCLA and Georgia. We have played each one of these programs except Oklahoma. We have beaten Alabama, UCLA, Georgia, JMU, and played OSU in Clearwater a couple of seasons ago, when we also played Arizona, and played them down to the wire when they had a better overall team than they have right now! Most of these teams play in the Clearwater tourney every season. Additionally, we traveled to Texas, and we split with them that season. FSU played Oklahoma in the final series of the WCWS and played well. We can do this and have the players in place to compete at the highest level. Our ladies just have to believe they can! By beating #9 ranked FSU yesterday, I believe that gave them the confidence they needed to finish strong the rest of this season! Go Hokies!
