This one friggin loss has kept us from being higher! But the bottom line is, we are not in the SEC, if we were and had this record we would be ranked in the Top 5! Florida State is a very good team, but should not be ranked that much ahead of us, but is based on SOS and RPI. It pays to play in tournaments like Clearwater, even if you lose one or two games, look what it has done for Liberty. They defeated UCLA and other top teams, and now it still has them in the Top 25 and we beat them both games. In order to play with the big girls, you must play a tougher schedule. Also, if we would have split with LSU at the time, that would have helped us as well. Playing only four total games against SEC competition is just not enough. We need to play either more, or teams like UCLA, Arizona, Oklahoma during the regular season. This will help us even if we lose some of the games, because these teams usually have good rankings and schedules that are high SOS and RPI. Sweeping Stanford should have given us a higher ranking IMO. As VTCHIP said, we just have to keep winning, all of them in order to be in the Top 8 for hosting.
