mazzarone pitched largely well yesterday. I think Bree is better in relief
than Mazzarone is unless Mazzarone can get a lot of warning to warm up. I think you can start Carrico, with the logic that you are saving Mazzarone for the second game...unless the game starts to get out of hand. Layton can go for some innings, but LSU got to her too the other day.
If this is a win or go home game, I think you start Mazzarone and then bring in Carrico at the first sign of real trouble, i.e. more than 2 on with no outs or just 1 out. We also need to avoid errors.
Mazzarone would have gotten out of trouble against Akron yesterday except for the errors
