Better athletes, live balls and bats more pitch velocity
I’m a softball outsider- enjoy it much more than baseball one of the sports I played as a kid. When I think about the old wooden bats and dead balls we used 60 years ago and remember that my Babe Ruth fence was 300 down the lines and 385 to center I’m surprised today’s college 🥎 is playing on such comfy fields.
I guess the powers that be want scoring and comebacks.
