a lot of success at times but from my understanding had fell off some at the end. He definitely deserves to be in the HOF in my opinion being that he literally started the program and got them to the World Series. I will say that involved some luck finding a looked over pitcher named Angela Tincher. Without Tincher Thomas does not have near the success or the accolades that he has but that can be said of a lot of coaches who found a generational player. Now he deserves credit for bringing her to Blacksburg for sure. I will say this, if you put Tincher on one of Pete's teams the last 4 or so years there is a good chance they have a national championship. In the end both coaches have done a very good job with the program.
