..."Let Franklin cook!:) Some Olympic sports don't even have many full scholarships; some partial and maybe "book money." That's what my son's travel soccer team was told by a GA speaking to them. Of course, there is a budget line for salaries, equipment, training, uniforms, travel, etc. VT has hitched its athletic wagon to the promise and commitment of CJF and staff to raise the tide. Therefore, my response is watch the next 5 years before taking penny ante funds from many lesser sports, especially with Title IX requirements.
