21-2 and only #10 tells ya something about D1 softball
The power is really concentrated at the top. There aren't many upsets where top 10 teams lose to middling teams.
On one hand it is frustrating- it will be extremely difficult to end the season in the top 5. On the other hand if the goal is to finish in the top 16 for NCAA hosting purposes, VT is probably in a great position with wiggle room for a few off days.
