Plus Aldridge could possibly play catcher, outfield and designated player. Pitching should be ok with six pitchers available this year; probably pitch by committee. Blackwell is the only returning outfielder that played significant innings. Bre Warren transfer grad student from Texas A&M is available plus Abromavage, McNelly, Moore, maybe a few other utility position players too. Including Yaeger and Aldridge we have two more catchers for a total of four. Haven’t had this many in quite a while, maybe never…. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Gaby Mizelle (infield) playing a fair amount - has a good bat too. Also, other new players we haven’t seen before certainly are very capable of contributing.
