Breakdown versus last year's post-season teams

Realizing that "past performance is no indicator of future results," I thought it would be interesting to break down this year's opponents based on last year's post season play. The Hokies will play 5 games against teams that made it to the College World Series - Alabama (2) and Stanford (3) They will play 5 more games against teams that made it to the Super Regionals - LSU (2) and FSU (3) They will play 14 more games against teams that received NCAA bids - Northwestern, Liberty (2), Villanova (2), Penn State, Kentucky, UVA (3), Charlotte, and Cal (3). If they do reasonably well against those teams, then hosting is not out of the question as strength of schedule should be pretty decent.
