Ritter needed to try to dislodge the ball when she slid (it’s legal)

If you are beaten by a country mile, when you slide, you have to try to dislodge the ball as part of your slide. That doesn’t mean paw at the ball. But it does mean turn your shoulder into the glove as the tag is being applied. As it was, the fielder had the ball in a snow cone formation when she came away from the tag. Implies to me that it could’ve been dislodged from the glove if a hard shoulder was put into it by Ritter.
