Would it not
make sense for the 7 schools to pony up a single exit fee and bribe another ACC school to break away with the payment and promise of inclusion if a new conference were formed (and left out in the cold if the other 7 find a home in the mega conferences)? Maybe I'm just breaking laws or something here

I imagine they have thought about it and the tv networks would be happy to come up with a new deal that would be better for the mag 7. The question is would they want to do that to the other colleges/universities in the ACC.
