On basketball pre game show on ESPN, Seth said he expects
4 main conferences in the next few years. And nobody on the panel blinked an eye. There is clearly a perception from the talking heads that one power conference will die. Nobody said PAC but we can all see it as the main target right now. This was them talking about possibly expanding the tournament.

Biggest chance 4 a P4 is πŸ€ Tournament expansion, w/ Sweet 16 paid like 🏈
playoff. That’s true for the ACC and B12. Right now as we all know on this board, there is just a P2. I’ve been saying that for a while, glad it is now talked about on one of the biggest stages.

Nobody is Worth 4M a Year
Easy to curb that type bloated corruption induced wasteful idiocy. It can be done at any NCAA get together and everyone simply agree to put a damn cap on it. No way! It amounts to a form of money laundering. Throw the millions out there and spread it around through the woodpile & under the table for everybody & his brother. There are a bunch of attorneys & agent types at all these major universities that are lined up like livestock at the feeding trough waiting for next big multi-million contract to be tossed out. It is like a good ole boy network that the head coach gets acquainted with at a big high class social event soon after being hired. It goes something like this. You do it our way. Then we will make sure you never have another financial worry for the rest of your life. It is decadent corruption.

We will pay for football and basketball, it’s the other sports that concern
me the most.

Are you scared we'll "pull a Clemson?"
You know, fund the minimum number of sports required and put everything else into the revenue sports? That was good enough for a couple of football NCs.

In the long run, if they don’t pay out M&W Sweet 16 πŸ€, yes, but I think
change is coming. Charlie Baker the new NCAA President, said something about that happening for the Women’s Tournament today on Meet The Press. People have already been talking about it for the Men.

The NCAA president needs to clean up officiating first.
The officiating in women's games is horrible. The NCAA needs to first get that sorted. Pay more for competent officiating. Put money into training officials. Review their games, and fire the really bad ones.

They are big car dealership owners, bank presidents & insurance companyCEO's
They literally are never fired. That is why you see the asinine officiating game after game. The whole system is totally wacko.

A good friend of mine was an ACC football official.
He retired a couple years ago, but thoroughly enjoyed doing that on weekends. I think the travel was what did him in. He lived in the Keys, and catching flights every football weekend does get a little old. He is a practicing attorney, so that keeps him fairly busy too...lol

Coleman Milk & Annie Oakley
The largest dairy in Arkansas all during my youth. Annie Oakley on the milk containers and holding a glass full of that milk doing advertisements all during Saturday morning TV programming for years. Buddy Coleman was the namesake & owner, I think his three or four sons ran the dairy out of business a few decades ago. Whatever, it went down without Buddy and no longer exists. However, Buddy Coleman was a SWC football official for many decades. Coleman was never allowed to officiate Razorback games. Him being from Arkansas was the reasoning. The problem was all the other SWC football officials were Texans. That meant Arkansas played all SWC football games with all those Texas teams with only Texas officials. How wacko was all that? I don't know how many times I saw late flags negate the play when the Longhorns had a turnover. Broyles finally in the last few years in the SWC had the rule changed to allow Arkansans to officiate Arkansas games. ** Edited by WarHog38 at 4/3/2023, 4:25:49 PM ** Edited by WarHog38 at 4/3/2023, 4:28:46 PM ** Edited by WarHog38 at 4/3/2023, 9:32:47 PM
