ESPN needs an SEC/ACC challenge like the ACC/Big 10 challenge in hoops
Get these teams playing each other. Forget the Charleston Southern's OOC games. Lets get South Carolina vs North Carolina. Miss State. vs Virginia Tech. Clemson vs. Florida.

That is how the SEC got so good. They mostly schedule for success.
Penn State did it just after their scandal when they canceled the second game with UVa after losing the first. Why take a big loss to UVa at home? I think they replaced UVa with a MAC team to soften things up for themselves.
We should do the same. No more SEC games, esp "neutral site" games against SEC teams in Atlanta.
Personally, I like the games we have set up with JMU, ODU and Liberty. We should have one of those on our schedule every year, IMO, especially if they are uneven home vs away.

Maybe some ACC schools can pay these kids as well as the SEC. I know ACC Fball schools will not be Able to compete though. No way we can keep up with B1G and SEC budgets and payrolls.
We may not be competing against the SEC at all soon. Think them and the B1G are just different things soon.
