The B1G will let things cool for a few years and then take another bite.

I wonder what the odds are of Notte Dame getting the $75 million per year they want from NBC and when will we find out?

Asked for a good chunk. The Big 10 is not done.
We will know within the year I assume.

Agree. The B1G, SEC and Notre Dame are in the best position right now.
Not so much for everyone else. Texas and Oklahoma's departure weakened the Big 12. UCLA and USC's recent departure weakened the Pac-12. Notre Dame's departure will slightly weaken the ACC but it won't have the same impact as Texas, OU, UCLA and USC. As far as I'm concerned, Notre Dame's foot has been outside the door since they joined the ACC. Notre Dame's other sports won't be missed by the ACC. The ACC will just miss those 5 football games.

Been that way for decades. ACC still screws us over by aligning us with UVA, Pitt, and Wake. Since we’ve been here, we’ve only had UVA, Pitt, GT, Duke, UNC, BC, and Miami regularly. Miami me UVA I get, it we were hosting Clemson, FSU, and NCState once a generation. Every 12 years. These guys are awful. THEN, they have the nerve to stick us with awake instead of Miami? BTW, Miami is paired with Louisville. Make Louisville play Wake every year. Again, these guys suck/. I swear, VT should be the one challenging the GOR. This league and it’s leadership has utterly failed us.
The occasional ND game at home was huge for us.

Them now I bet. Swarbrick said there will be two spheres and people will have to choose( if they can). NBC signing the Big may be a foreshadowing of what is to come.

I am confused by your response, as to whether it is done or you just think both will be done? Why you think that for which ever one you are thinking?

That's the first I've heard NBC linked with the B1G in football. Not to hard to connect those dots.
At this point, I wonder if the B1G would just be OK with going to 17 and just adding ND. That makes 2-rivals with rotating 7 home/away matchups every two years work. In basketball, you could play 4 teams twice (1 set rival, the other 3 rotate) and then play the other 12 teams once for a 20 game schedule. Pretty nice and tidy and avoids any bloat.
