I agree......
One or a few links of the same thing would suffice, however, a never ending loop of self perpetuating propaganda not so much. For discussion, Yormark came on board claiming the Big 12 was open for business. He seems to be supporting that strategy with a daily barrage of media reports that began with saying he wants a deal sooner rather than later and doubling down with stories/leaks that a deal is reportedly near. What is the goal? Obviously first and foremost would be a long term deal to solidify the foundation of the Big 12 going forward. If that is not materializing as fast or at a workable amount then the reports could have a secondary goal. That goal might be, but not limited to, further destabilizing the PAC 12 and its remaining members to shake loose a few new candidates for Big 12 membership without engaging in a full on frontal assault. He deserves credit for working it as the Big 12 commissioner. Another question to be answered is if or how the PAC 12 and ACC commissioners might respond to the Big 12 PR campaign? A final question is where ESPN and Fox along with the SEC and B1G, respectively, might fit in behind the scenes pulling strings to aid in their own individual plans.

The dollar numbers being thrown around include the hoped for expanded CFP
So the numbers being thrown out are not for conference TV rights, but also for the "new" CFP that will come about in 2027. That new CFP contract will also mean bigger payouts to the ACC, SEC, B1G, PAC12, Big XII, and all the G5 conferences.
