Altimore’s credibility has got to be hovering around zero these days.

He claimed that USC & UCLA would never leave the PAC-12. He claimed that no PAC-12 school would ever join the Big 12. He claimed that SDSU & SMU would be members of the PAC-12 this year. The PAC-12 was unified around research dollars and academic reputation and had little concern for media rights money and “on the field” success. His charts and graphs are meaningless for the most part because he tries to establish relationships that don’t exist between variables that aren’t related.
