SMU is pretty much free for 7 years. That's one heck of a bargain.

No conference has received that kind of deal to date. Will SMU start building up its football program if it is finally in the Power 4? That is the question. SMU definitely has the funds. The ACC might soon be in Texas and California, the two largest populated states. Plenty of later eveningt games to fill the ACCN schedule. The Big 12 should've expanded into California since they are in Arizona now. I'm personally against all this expansion with WVU playing ASU and BYU and UCF v. Arizona and Utah, Rutgers at UCLA and Penn State vs. Washington. Now it looks like VA Tech may be playing Stanford and Cal. Simply ridiculous!
