They have a home. They should keep it going

At this point I hope the PAC 4 stay together and keep the PAC alive. Focus on non-rev sports and play as independent football until they can figure things out. Their best move is to not let football ruin things for them. It will mean some pain for their football teams but all other sports still have access to NCAA championships. Don’t get sucked into the ACC drama and have to deal with all this again in a few years.

On3: As their cruel summer continues, where do Pac-12 schools turn next?

Tell ND the ACC will add Stanford and Cal if they join too.

Agree 1000%**
NativeBurger 08/11/23 02:42 PM ET
I think they should stay home.

LOL Swarbrick you won't add 1 more game to help them!! Look in the mirror!!
Stech 08/11/23 10:18 AM ET
Maybe Swarbrick should look at the University of Chicago which is a
RJHokie 08/11/23 12:25 PM ET
I agree the whole Swarbrick fiasco was very tone deaf and hypocritical. But
goldendomer 08/11/23 10:25 AM ET
Are you talking about the negotiations between Jack Swarbrick,
WBGV 08/11/23 05:00 PM ET
At this point, every statement being made is posturing for something
Vienna_Hokie 08/11/23 11:08 AM ET
Yep, I have negotiated both sports & business agreements, so much posturing
Stech 08/11/23 11:24 AM ET
You nailed it on the last line why IMHO they won't add a 6th game, but
Stech 08/11/23 10:43 AM ET
I agree. Thankfully the ACC teams have finally woken up! Yeah!!!**

Maybe if the Pac-4 do as you say, why not invite a few FCS schools looking
Maroon Baboon 08/11/23 12:26 PM ET
By NCAA rules, they would need to add either 3 or 4 teams by 2024.
Atlee Hokie 08/11/23 12:24 PM ET
I think it's six teams. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Maroon Baboon 08/11/23 12:35 PM ET
I know it used to be six teams, and probably still is.**
RJHokie 08/11/23 12:40 PM ET
I would totally watch Oregon State at Montana (bucket list stadium)**
Maroon Baboon 08/11/23 12:48 PM ET
While you in that neck of the woods, pick up the Kibbie Dome. **

MrBayAreaHokie 08/11/23 09:38 AM ET
Well, if ND we’re actually in a conference for football…
JLM-Hokie 08/11/23 09:22 AM ET
There are a million different possible permeations out there but
Vippie1 08/11/23 09:02 AM ET
I think that The B1G will continue to add Western programs, but the ones

If they were keeping a spot open for Stanford and Cal, why not take them
wwhokie1 08/11/23 09:57 AM ET
Bingo. Keeping schools on the back burner hurts the back burner school.
Maroon Baboon 08/11/23 12:10 PM ET
Precisely, why diminish their value if you have plans to add them?
obguthr 08/11/23 10:14 AM ET
Sometimes the conference needs to take a desirable team when the team is

1) OSU-nw & WSU should just apply to MWC and get it over with,
Atlee Hokie 08/11/23 08:57 AM ET
Would also prefer Oregon State and Wazzu if all other things were equal

There should be zero concessions made to FSU. Even if the ACC someshow
HokieToph 08/11/23 12:10 PM ET
Yep, FSU has always had an enormous ego.
