I have a feeling that the acc will surprise us

It’s a big commitment to add schools on the west coast. This is about more than just growth. The ACC has an angle here. I can guess at some of it but I think there are aspects that might surprise and impress us. Maybe it’s the academic side. Maybe something with pay and ESPN. Or something else completely. I know, it’s a very Pollyanna view. But the ACC could easily just stand still and do nothing. So there has to be something driving this. Some crazy plan that justifies it. Assuming the chatter is real and that we do grab 2-4 of the PAC schools.
