I guess that would mean the end of people having watch parties or entire

families/friends gathering together at someone's house to watch a sporting event. If people are watching the same game on their googles/glasses, then I would think it would eliminate/severely reduce the typical interaction you see when people are watching the same game on 1 TV. Then again, that assumes the people either bring their googles/glasses with them or the person hosting the event has enough for everyone at the house. If some people are watching the game on their googles/glasses and others are watching it on TV, then I would think the interaction could get a little awkward at times. Given that people enjoy eating and drinking while watching a sporting event, I didn't get a good sense from the article if people would still be able to do that while wearing the googles/glasses or if they would have to temporarily remove them. The technology seems like it would be ideal for gaming or if someone is watching a sporting event by him/herself. I'm not sure the technology at this stage is necessarily a benefit for a multi-person setting or group setting (i.e. bar/restaurant).
