For the ACC, performance based pay makes a lot of sense

Postseason payouts from bowls, CFP, and NCAA tournament should be heavily slanted to those that participate in those events. There is a lot of low ceiling programs that are content to take a paycheck while expending minimal effort. BC is a good example. They do bring a lot of in state carriage fees for the ACC network, so splitting TV revenue makes sense. Syracuse without coach Boeheim will be interesting. Duke looks like they're still good in basketball, but they'll never be nationally relevant in football.

Miami liked uneven revenue sharing, until VT started winning the Big East.
