ND will walk to the B1X before agreeing to that.

They don't want to be saddled with a lower paying conference when they can get "the big bucks" by joining the B1X. Let's put it this way, ND can see the ACC is full of small private schools, so it would be crazy to join. Heck, half of the conference doesn't prioritize football, and that's ND's #1 priority.

Fwiw, part of the GOR is that ND FB must join the ACC if they join anyone**
