ND bears no blame......

for the contracts presented to them that they sign so long as they fulfill their obligations. The onus is on the organizations that provide the contract, at least IMO, and if the constituents of those organizations are unhappy their beef should be with the organization.

ND is not going to join the ACC, but how about getting them to commit to 6
wwhokie1 05/20/23 12:36 AM ET
ND will walk to the B1X before agreeing to that.
EDGEMAN 05/21/23 04:54 AM ET
Fwiw, part of the GOR is that ND FB must join the ACC if they join anyone**
jmanatVT 05/21/23 07:05 AM ET
I think that is a separate contract
TerryD 05/24/23 01:23 PM ET
Believe ND is covered for non-football sports.**
RJHokie 05/24/23 01:29 PM ET
I think ND's issue as a school......
2hhoop3 05/24/23 01:38 PM ET
ND also has a much cheaper GOR buy-out **
JLM-Hokie 05/22/23 08:05 AM ET
That's why they'll join in to dis-establish the ACC
EDGEMAN 05/21/23 07:57 AM ET
What's in it for ND? We have a deal with them.
Maroon Baboon 05/21/23 12:27 AM ET
May I offer another suggestion? Join the ACC for football
ancient alien 2018 05/20/23 11:37 PM ET
Isn't this the choice they are facing already?
Truthahn 05/21/23 08:40 AM ET
Not going to happen at all
TerryD 05/21/23 06:00 AM ET
Here is the only conference ND would join...
LonghornHokie 05/20/23 03:51 PM ET
It would not want to join that one in full, either.
TerryD 05/21/23 06:05 AM ET
a simple clarity ND is a member of the ACC for everything except football
Mercury 05/20/23 10:33 AM ET
They already have 5 per year. They are almost in the acc at this point**
HokieAl 05/20/23 09:47 AM ET
ND should demand a GOR extension then. This would be good for them, too.
Truthahn 05/20/23 07:41 AM ET
All solutions for the ACC need to be done outside of what ND can do
goldendomer 05/20/23 08:19 AM ET
You missed my point. They obviously are involved.
Truthahn 05/21/23 08:35 AM ET
Your end of the bargain? Outside of a few football games
ancient alien 2018 05/20/23 11:39 PM ET
There would be no ACC Network without ND
TerryD 05/21/23 06:03 AM ET
Do you have the statistics to support your statement?**
Hokie`79 05/21/23 07:57 AM ET
No, but there are David Teel articles and John Swofford quotes....
TerryD 05/21/23 07:40 PM ET
This is true.**
RJHokie 05/21/23 07:41 PM ET
No, that is completely unreasonable
goldendomer 05/20/23 07:29 AM ET
Just Leave
VT Rockie 05/20/23 09:49 AM ET
Why?
TerryD 05/20/23 11:28 AM ET
Why the animosity? Goldendomer is right...
jesuisvtguy 05/20/23 10:47 AM ET
Yep, the ACC is to blame.
Old Line Hokie 05/20/23 10:53 AM ET
ND bears no blame......
2hhoop3 05/20/23 11:40 AM ET
My guess is that most, if not all, schools
Toastie Hokie 05/20/23 12:25 PM ET
ND is an occasional big OOC game without negotiations. Fine with me.
Truthahn 05/21/23 08:59 AM ET
We all know when the day comes (whenever that is) which conference ND will
VPI_1998 05/20/23 03:49 PM ET
We have no reason to leave, we're content.**
goldendomer 05/20/23 10:16 AM ET
The small pvt schools are the issue. **
MrFantastic! 05/20/23 02:24 AM ET
Since they aren't going to be booted...
EDGEMAN 05/20/23 08:44 AM ET
If they didn't. or couldn't, the ACC would have
ancient alien 2018 05/20/23 11:47 PM ET
If you are currently playing in a NFL stadium, you have 10 years to...
EDGEMAN 05/20/23 08:46 AM ET
Hard Rock is the nicest stadium in the ACC**
SpeakToDamien 05/20/23 11:58 AM ET
But it isn't being maintained by the college.
EDGEMAN 05/20/23 04:11 PM ET
They pay rent. **
SpeakToDamien 05/20/23 05:26 PM ET
Guarantee it's far less than building and maintaining a football stadium**
EDGEMAN 05/21/23 04:47 AM ET
If so, that's good fiscal responsibility, IMHO. Building a super expensive
