Phillips noted that the ACC is in a power position for three reasons:

its revenue is expected to far outpace that of the Pac-12 or Big 12 once USC, UCLA, Texas and Oklahoma (which are slated to move to the SEC in 2025) move to their new conferences; it operates its own network in partnership with ESPN; and the grant of rights binds its members together for the foreseeable future. This gives me hope for getting WVU and Cincinnati to make the move to the ACC. That and ESPN doesn't have Ohio and though West Virginia is a smaller population state, it has a lot of alums in the DMV, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Not to mention all of the natural rivalries they will have in the ACC. They will help fill many of their away games because like VT they travel. ** Edited by Stech at 9/23/2022, 11:50:44 PM

Sounds possible
MrFantastic! 09/25/22 06:03 PM ET

BAMRising 09/24/22 10:17 AM ET
Start a company designed to do this.
33laszlo99 09/25/22 07:21 PM ET
no doubt it would be complex and staged over a period of time
Vippie1 09/24/22 10:26 AM ET
So basically a national TV contract serving as an umbrella w 3 conferences
BAMRising 09/24/22 10:39 AM ET
You could have some fun with scheduling…

I think that's the 'drug deal"
Mercury 09/24/22 11:23 AM ET
Best option now would be to skip over those and get Baylor and OK State

I've seen year to year payouts, ACC gets a big $ bump in 2024-5 I think.

If ACC lost both FSU and Miami would be neat to have UCF and USF
