Is this deal only for football or all B1G sports...

Not being on ESPN will not help B1G basketball since ESPN has three channels that air basketball UNLESS CBS Sports Network covers B1G basketball. The B1G also has Fox Sports but I can't see CBS or NBC or Fox showing B1G basketball Monday - Friday evenings. At this point, ESPN is the "king of college basketball". CBS Sports Net already shows Big East and A-10 basketball games. I beleive that CBS has been showing B1G hoops on weekend afternoons for years. It's the weekdays where B1G basketball may receive less eyeballs nationally. I understand realignment is mostly about football, but the B1G possibly losing ESPN for basketball seems like a slight negative.

They'll be competing with the Big East on FS1 and FS2.

Manageable? We have different opinions on manageable
hokieZ71 08/09/22 02:11 PM ET
More manageable. Yes 6 years of fees is better than 14 years of fees
HokieAl 08/09/22 02:47 PM ET
Texas and Oklahoma are sticking in the Big XII to the end of their contract
