Follow the money! The paradigm has shifted again, from do people watch your games from any State, instead of the old priority of in state cable hookups. It’s why Colorado hired Prime, it’s why UNC hired Bellichek, it’s why UVA increased dramatically their basketball NIL. The landscape is shifted/shifting faster than ever, College Sports are in the ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS, and it’s only accelerating in that direction. Schools need to schedule as many rivalry games as possible, be they conference schools or not. That means for instance, Virginia Tech should play their more natural rivals and as many higher ranked teams if possible. In other words, whether you’re in the SEC or B1G or not, schedule as much like you are in those conferences as possible!!!! Some schools have already moved to this model, how fast will your school make this adjustment in scheduling?
