As an FYI, ACC television ratings this year will go down versus next year. Period. Full stop. Even if Miami runs the table (which they won't after losing to us next week) or Cal Berkeley makes a magical run to the CFP, ACC ratings will be lower this year. Here's why, the SEC is now almost exclusively on ABC and ACC games will barely break through on their platform this year. The ACC will have more ESPN games but due to so much SEC inventory being pushed to ABC, ACC ratings will be lower and the story will be that ACC ratings are down, and the ratings decline will have a lot to do with where games are airing. As an FYI, when I was in my previous role, ESPN was in the process of ramping up their launch of the SEC network. I still have their SEC Network golf polo that they gave me for the help that I provided. I gave them a lot of thoughts around how we could monetize views across multiple platforms and we also discussed content streams that are in use today. But, I don't know a whole lot about this stuff. :)
