A very close colleague said a D1 non revenue head coach told him and others in the group, this was a done deal and they would cut the number of players by about 30%. I have said for a while, I was concerned, but I hoped they would find ways to keep the team number of players up, but just drop the number of scholarships, but that doesn’t jive with what was announced today.
