ESPN Article With Details About FSU Lawsuit
I noticed one claim by FSU that in 2016 during contract re-negotiations between ACC & ESPN. The current ACC/ESPN contract was set at that time to expire on June 30, 2027. However it is alleged by FSU that ESPN added 9 years to that contract making the expiration date in 2036, then coerced ACC members into signing that 20 years extension by ESPN declaring they would never do business with ACC again if that 9 year contract extension was not granted.

It was to get ESPN to start the ACC network. Crappy deal but no leverage. **
