ACC Mess
Through more than 75 years I've watched the ACC make more mistakes than "Carter has pills." The control of power was rooted in the state of NC for a longggg time. Those four controlled the league and along the way only cared about their dollars and rivals you could have thrown stones from one spot to another in northern NC. They reaped the advantages of local rivals and having full support from fans in the state. The previous commissioner wanted to expand to add the ACC footprint in other areas of the country. Going to Boston, Syracuse and Syracuse was a huge mistake and added nothing to the conference. The SEC commissioner recently noted they have the global interest in the SEC and do not need to expand to the west coast or outside "the south" to reach additional value or interest from fans. As the best football conference in the U.S. with little competition they are know nationally and around the world. So why on God's green earth would you want to go west? Makes no sense is you follow the SEC model and success and doing the right thing to attract fans and fill stadiums much larger than 90% of the ACC members? Giving a partial member like ND a vote on expansion and other matters is one of the dumbest decisions ever made. Why on earth does the conference and nation constantly worship ND? The Irish should be forced to join a conference or be left out in the cold begging someone to schedule them. All sports teams should be on equal footing. Plain and simple. Allowing ND to solidly support adding teams when they aren't even a football member of the ACC is laughable. Something is terribly wrong with what's happening in college sports. Their is enough blame to go around and commissioners of these conferences are like the elected officials in Washington, they can lie with a straight face. As just an ordinary fan I'm getting tired and sick of it all. My support will most likely be luke warm and on a back burner. Enough is enough!!!!

While I'm inclined to agree with you, the B12 would give them that
