Big Ten and SEC do not decide on conference alignment.

FOX Sports and ESPN make those decisions. It is their money. ESPN already owns the ACC teams. I read there is no reason to shift them to the SEC. They make plenty off the ACC. Why lose it? It is FOX sports that will be coming after ACC teams if anyone does. ESPN does not want to lose ND to FOX Sports. For now I am going with the theory that it is power play between FOX and ESPN.

Right now it is a 3 way standoff. SEC, BIG, and ND

ND going to B1G has minimal impact on GOR as their component is reasonably

If ND tries to leave before 2036, the ACC will enforce the GoR against them

Neither of those is part of the GOR. They are separate contract deals. **

From a contract standpoint, ND component is just as important as the rest

Because the BIG can wait. They don't need to rush since they have control
