remember, I said in a WORSE case scenario, hope we could, with different marketing/fundraising priorities, redirect the millions of donations/operational costs currently devoted towards maintaining a top tier FOOTBALL program (should we be, in fact, relegated to a "third tier" FOOTBALL program) to becoming a virtually free tuition, world leading academic institution. Upon reflection, over the past 20 years, given the sordid unequal playing field among FBS football schools, which we know Tech will never win, I would rather be known as one of the few non-Ivey's that offer free tuition and direct giving intiatives that propel Tech to a top fifty WORLD (not just U.S.) learning institution. Improbable as it hits your ears, university futurists might not think that preferred future is so incredible for us. Having said that, I'll now "duck and cover".
