That is this Power 2 grows, and more and more heavyweights join (USC, Texas, Oklahoma). With each added team, it makes those on the outside more disposable. I mean, right now it 32 teams. Do they really need any more? Certainly they could use Notre Dame. But beyond that. Do they even need Clemson and FSU? If the P2 collude as a Power 1, do they really need two teams from Virginia? Do they even need one team from Virginia? Now clearly they are teams on the outside (Clemson) that are better than teams on the inside (Northwestern). But does it matter? But the way that the Power 2 are cherry picking blue bloods without taking any straphangers is a cause for concern. We need to be vigilant. Get better at football. Fill the stadium. Be enthusiastic. Be and look valuable. Whining will get us no where. But value might.
