Well of Course they did.

They skipped over the Arizona schools too. When the Oregon State AD said no way due to travel, and both Arizona Schools said they were going to the Big 12, Jim Phillips dropped them. Stanford and Cal said YES. I reported what he reported, and did not continue to pursue after that. It's 2 years later. If you want to pursue Oregon State go for it. I don't know what the ACC wants to do
