Texas running the B12 with the LHN and not caring much about the conference
as a whole. You keep calling ND an Independent, they are not. They are member of the ACC for all other sports and they have 5-6 football games a year with the ACC. They go to ACC meetings, they use ACC refs, they lead expansion for Calford and SMU according to Jim Phillips. The similarity is that when you give preferential treatment to one school, it is the beginning of the end. Texas ended up bolting, and if for not for the PAC having Larry Scott to drive the bus in the ditch, B12 would have been a terrible position. Something I did not want, because I like the B12 schools. However, I think Notre Dame and their selfishness is going to put the ACC in a similar position, we will hanging on a thread when schools leave for the P2. It's okay we disagree on this, but the conference has been way more divided since ND joined the conference. Also, the B12 is wayyyy better off without Texas, so you may not see the similarities, but I think they are very similar and will probably end up with a similar result, which is not stronger even if they do survive.
