The Advancement division of VT works with VT Athletics on fundraising.

That is my understanding. Don't they have the brains there to provide the athletic department with a fundraising plan going forward? They are the professionals when it comes to fundraising. Certainly, they know what other universities are doing in regard to athletics. It may be them that says we don't need to hire a new fundraiser for the Hokie Club (HC). Now I'm not saying that a fundraiser within the HC is not necessary. It may help. I don't know. But why can't Charlie Phlegar's group come up with a good fundraising plan that VT athletics just needs to implement? Maybe they have but have just not communicated it to the fanbase. Again, they work hand-in-hand. Certainly, they must be communicating with WB on a fundraising strategy going forward. Your thoughts would be appreciated. TIA
