So, from my perspective as a fan and a non legal scholar, the

threat of yeas of litigation should, and probably will necessitate a settlement. From FSU's perspective, they in all probability will get an invite from one of the P2 (I understand there can not be an offer now). So, the question is, does FSU have a stronger case being a member of the ACC, or is the case stronger if they leave? The next obvious question to me would be, what do they have to lose? The only option they would give up, is staying in the ACC if the settlement was egregious. Even then, they would still be better off in the long term money wise, by being in the P2. That guaranteed playoff money may make the difference.
