I disagree. The most certainly have more media money, but

if you look around, that will not be enough to win national Championships in football. Are those invited to the playoffs much different than were invited to the BCS bowls? The rich got richer, but there are only so many starters that will commit to Alabama for instance. In the past, 2nd stringers on the blue blood squads would have been starters at another school. The transfer portal has put a lid on accumulating all of the good players. The kids want to play, and yes, make money. That doesn't happen being developed on the bench. I think we will have more parity in football than we have had in the past, and don't be surprised when a Boise State makes a run in the playoffs from time to time. K-State did not need Texas money in the past to compete with them on the football field. Why do you think it's different now? Because Texas makes more money? Look at the budgets BEFORE these media deals came into play. There has always been a disparity.
