There is much about "Da U" that deserves criticism, but...

I think they have enough juice to remain a contender for both P2's. I think The SEC would take three schools in FL just to blockade The B1G. It's ESPN who would object to three or maybe even two. ESPN hates paying for four properties in N.C. I think they would feel more comfortable if they weren't all in the same conference. They pay four times and it doesn't expand their footprint. Florida times three would be a similar expensive problem for ESPN, even if The SEC would prefer it.

Reminds me of the ACC trying to get ND to join up.

fair assessment

Duke & UNC as a package deal MIGHT be enough to get Duke in the B1G or SEC.

I have no clue how much sway they have. Just noting that they do have

Guarantee Miami isn't on the SECs radar, and I doubt the B1X wants them
EDGEMAN 03/02/23 01:08 PM ET
Miami will probably end up in the Big 12 if the ACC comes apart.
tarheelblue 03/02/23 01:11 PM ET
Miami has some attractive qualities. I think they'll make the cut.

Which is why they will end up in the Big 12 rather than the AAC or C-USA.

They are most defiantly competitors for the P2
Big12 guy 03/02/23 11:30 PM ET
That would not surprise me.**
