That and $3 gets you a cup of coffee at Starbucks. The monies

that are allocated today, will not be the monies allocated in 2030 for evry conference except the ACC. Stick your chest out if you must, but things are changing fast. The conference comparisons today are a joke. Comparing the ACC to the B12 today is irrelevent, as neither the ACC or B12 can, will, or even try to poach teams from each other. That will be revisited around 2030 when the settlement has a history, new media contracts are negotiated, and other unknowns like legislation, the basketball tournament set up/media negotiations, and a few other things that will/will not transpire. The ACC got their extension, and they are going to be the next to take a shot at unequal distributions. Until we know how this plays out, you are stuck in 2023. I don't think it's even a thing anymore, even with the B12 podcasters. ** Edited by Big12 guy at 6/8/2025, 10:18:50 AM ** Edited by Big12 guy at 6/8/2025, 12:25:40 PM

We will eventually end up with a 4–4 – 2–2 – whatever scenario.

P2 won't go to 20. Only one school available that will bring the existing

This "new" development has not played out yet. We only have one year as a

I think we end up with a ratings based model
HokieAl 06/06/25 11:33 AM ET
Let's make the P2 really mad and do a 10-6 model.

Based on this argument, which I don't necessarily disagree with the logic,

Basketball and football is apples and oranges.

As the P2s continue consolidating top tier teams, there will come a point

Deal me in
Maroon Baboon 06/06/25 03:05 PM ET
I don't think it will be arranged that way.
Maroon Baboon 06/06/25 09:20 AM ET
No conference championship games. And your second point is incorrect
hokieZ71 06/06/25 11:00 AM ET
My point isn't incorrect. It's just highly unlikely. And I concede that.
Maroon Baboon 06/06/25 11:51 AM ET
If and when the P2's have 20 teams each, then there is

Yeah, definitely won't be a 4-4-4.

I'm not making it a Big12 vs ACC thing. The Big 12 and ACC are equals.

Except the ACC makes more money, sends more schools to CFP, and has own TV**

Someone get Don King on the phone so he can promote the PPV ACC vs. Big XII
VTHokie2000 06/06/25 03:47 PM ET
It's wishful thinking that the P2 will surrender any money or power...
EDGEMAN 06/06/25 08:48 AM ET
That's why they will offer 4-4-2-2
