When you say championed......

is that total funds raised or just him personally dipping into that $4B from the sale of his oil and gas holdings? I know he had a short stint with the NFL Colts and I am not familiar with how his oil and gas fortune came about but, billionaires like him and the guys at SMU and some others can likely reshape the college athletic playground in substantial ways. I never have thought much of Tuberville and Saban is rapidly descending in my esteem as well. These guys all benefitted from the system and are now whining, less I believe from altruistic motives and much more from being displaced from the former system they gamed that has now consumed them.
