No I wasn’t saying P1 in a year

I was only saying that one good year by VT could be written off by others as luck or an outlier. We need multiple years of being good to silence any doubters and have a solid case for consideration whenever the P2/P1 makes more changes. I’m on record here saying that I think the next round of change is either 2030 or 2031 based on contracts for the BIG and the playoffs.

Well - streamers are starting to buy just a few college games

What would streamers pay for a 16 team super league?
mancunian 05/01/26 09:12 AM ET
I think it will be more likely the blue bloods
Big12 guy 05/01/26 11:37 AM ET
I wonder what a streamer would pay for Ohio State's football home games?
SMU Pony 05/01/26 08:40 AM ET
Imagine this scenario with Ohio State and Michigan...
SMU Pony 05/01/26 09:05 AM ET
USC already tried to do similar, and the Big Ten shot it down.
reestuart 05/04/26 12:52 PM ET
Add USC and PSU.

The Texas network was more about 3rd tier worth. Not football.**

Like it or not, the blue bloods are driving the bus. **

I love this.

The ESPN payout to the ACC will be the same regardless, no?
SMU Pony 04/30/26 08:57 PM ET
The article says "everyone worked together" to get this done.

Do you think VT should get some of that money? **

For bball, espn still wins

VT is nowhere close to being in a P1. See my thread a few below this**

You are only looking back, sure last 15 not good, but that’s irrelevant to

Looking back is actual results. Nobody is going to invite VT for potential

Indiana changed it in 2 years, and I don’t think the P1 is a year away like

IMO this is a trail balloon. The third tier rights are greatly undervalued

I don't think it's a trial balloon..if it is, it's a bad one

I disagree, as a cord cutter (havent have regular cable in 10 years)

If the CW and/or Amazon wanted a certain percentage of content to include

Yes, they could do that until the current GOR expires. However, is that in
VTHokie2000 04/30/26 05:10 PM ET
I guess they could do that, but we know now
Big12 guy 04/30/26 05:44 PM ET
The only way Amazon and the CW could do that is if ESPN gives them access
