Given that Northwestern and USC are the only private schools currently in

the Big Ten, is Miami (including its fan base) more like Northwestern or USC? The answer to that question could give people an idea which way the Big Ten could go if it is going to choose between FSU and Miami. Now that assumes that FSU's fan base is more like Ohio State, Michigan, or Wisconsin than UCF, USF, FAU, or FIU.

FSU will be fine for sure. But I don’t know if they will get an invite. **

You don't think the Big Ten would want to add FSU given all their snowbird
VTHokie2000 02/05/26 01:28 PM ET
I don't. I could see Miami ahead of FSU. **

I don't disagree that the TV ratings are probably a wash. Likewise, I

Aside from JAX, the other cities are as close to Miami as Tallahassee.

Right now, I agree with you that it would be a lot easier to get tickets in

As I said, it’s an open race and FSU has a chance. But they’re behind Miami**

I'm not sure anyone is necessarily ahead in that race though. Given the

I know it’s trendy to renovate but FSU's stadium capacity has been reduced
