You could have saved yourself time.....

from regaling the board with your somewhat erroneous and largely irrelevant dissertation. You previously admitted in an earlier post that you do not have access to the contract and/or discussions so how can you make the statement that the current contract is based on viewership? You follow that up by trying to make a connection between viewership and a sold out stadium. Your second paragraph on content largely ignores the reality that content without distribution capability doesn't work. The four corners and former PAC 12 schools can educate you more on that. Your theory that the conferences with content hold the power is not consistent with history or present practice. The NFL is likely the only entity close to even footing with media companies and that owes to their strategy of spreading the content to a variety of conglomerates which they can do because they control the whole pie. That structure is not, at present, a reality for college football. You are right on one thing, we will see with the next round of contracts what the actual reality might be. Also, you are entitled to your opinion and as you have been told on previous occasions the question is how intelligently you can defend your position.

The ACC is likely to lose some schools (up to 4 IMO) in 2030, but

Agree, P2 are now competing & not cooperating for them, but I think 8 is
Stech 01/19/26 01:24 PM ET
Adding low profile schools only dilutes the brand.
RandomAsianGuy 01/19/26 01:38 PM ET
I don’t think the top 8 in the ACC are low profile schools, I think the B1G
Stech 01/19/26 02:01 PM ET
If the top 8 in the ACC is the P2 worthy, the ACC should have received
RandomAsianGuy 01/20/26 12:12 PM ET
The top 8 including Miami are investing now, fortunately w/ NIL & Portal it
Stech 01/20/26 12:46 PM ET
ACC is only "safe" through 2029. That's when we'll see the next shifts-
Baltimore_Hokie 01/19/26 10:09 AM ET
That’s right by then the penalties are much smaller. **

Agreed. I was surprised that they got that
Big12 guy 01/19/26 03:12 PM ET
