This is all anecdotal, so take it with some healthy skepticism...

I live in Big 10 country (NE Ohio); nobody, and I mean nobody, I know is enthused about any of the Big 10's additions. They'll watch OSU play anyone but my sense is matchups between the new schools and traditional Big 10 schools aren't going to move the needle much. If an OSU fan isn't watching Illinois/Purdue he's not watching Illinois/Washington. The one addition that might attract more eyeballs is USC. How long will the novelty of a weekly Rose Bowl last? I dunno.
