You are talking about something that may or may not happen

11 years from now. ESPN will go to where they can make the most profit, and those rights will be bid on by other entities. ESPN is not in the business of building conferences in the NCAA. They are in the business of making money. If they wanted more basketball content, they could have out bid those that have the Big East rights. In addition, basketball is worth 25% AT BEST of football. Also, the SEC has the money to "build" their own basketball conference. The future of the playoff era of FBS, is in football, not basketball. I'm also perplexed on how VT fans would even want to be in a basketball conference. You guys are a football school, through and through.

ESPN extended ACC agreement to 2036, wouldn’t do that to kill Conference.

Have you ever stopped to consider that ESPN doesn't HAVE to continue-

EDGEMAN 03/04/25 04:21 PM ET
SEC & B1G are meeting alone constantly, their cooperating to make more 💵
Stech 03/04/25 06:00 PM ET
That is a major point

Maybe we just keep adding $ to FSU and Clemson until they stay forever?

They are SOL if the lawsuit doesn’t go their way

ACC would’ve fought in court if they’re getting nothing, long term security
