Is that any different then it has been in the past? Basically, the P2
got 50% of the playoff spots, add ND, and they got 75% of the playoff spots.
The P2 took almost all of the brands and playoff contenders, and ND takes the 2nd team from the ACC or the B12 every year that they are a contender.
As a % off playoff spots, The P2 and ND will always get 50% to 75% of the playoff spots, that is a give in. A 2 loss ACC and B12 school would never have been considered before, yet here we are, complaining that our conferences will not get a 2 loss team into the playoffs.
A LOT of the at large invites the B12 will receive, will depend on their OOC schedule, as the SEC and Big 10 will get their SOS from conference play. Who and how you lose to will determine any at large consideration, and of course the polls.
I find it interesting that Miami has a quality win in the swamp, not an easy place to win, but they are not considered a top 10 team. If they go undefeated in the regular season, and lose in the conference championship game, they will be included as an at large. 2 losses, and they will be on the outside, looking in. Almost exactly as it has been in the past.
"It's not fair" is an emotion, and there will be no level playing field moving forward. No different than the history of college football.

Would be surprised if the 7 at-large bids don't go ND and the P2.
