Why do hokies think that politicians will bail out teams not invited

to a P2 conference? UVA/UNC/VT/NCSU have no leverage to insist on tag along schools. Many posters insist it is all about football. None of these 4 schools move the needle for football alone. The P2 will select what schools they want and it will be up to each individual school to decide what is best for them alone, the politicians be damn. The Board of Visitors have a fiduciary responsibility to the school they represent, and the threat of losing a job that they don't need is an empty threat that will be ignored.
