You can constantly refer to the tribulations of the Big 12
and there have been many, but that doesn’t change the reality of what is currently happening to the ACC and it’s members. If you honestly believe that the ACC will survive with the loss of Clemson and FSU or believe that they will remain in the conference, then that is fair and you can put forth your opinion. It seems that a lot if not most posters on message boards throughout the ACC are disagreeing with your assertions. But to say that the ACC will survive because the Big 12 survived is really a “leap”. It’s a different time and different situation. The media rights market is different. Why does hate & spite have to be involved just because someone see conference realignment differently than you do? The media rights contract will end in 2027 without an extension from ESPN per FSU’s legal filings. That is no different than saying the media rights contract will end in 2036 with an extension from ESPN.
