ESPN says it's fine for FSU to have a copy just so there is a protective order preventing FSU from making it public. But FSU can't agree to a protective order under Florida public record laws. The issue has to be addressed under Florida law. Even if the parties agreed to keep it private does not matter. Once FSU or its lawyers see them, they are public. Right? Trying to redact true trade secrets is fair. This seems to be more about saying the whole agreement is trade secret. The stuff on extentions and options are not trade secrets.
